We invite abstracts for our symposium on Electrochemical CO2 Reduction (eCO2R), an appealing approach to converting the greenhouse gas CO2 into valuable products. This event seeks contributions that explore innovative methods and advancements in electrochemical CO2 conversion, focusing on fuels and chemicals such as C1 products (e.g., CO, formic acid, methane), C2+ products (e.g., ethylene, ethanol, acetate, propanol), and other valuable molecules and polymers. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: 1. Innovative Catalyst Design and Synthesis: Single atom catalysts Innovative Cu catalysts Bimetallic systems Cost-effective scalable synthesis of catalysts 2. Novel Structured Electrodes and Electrolyzers: Advanced gas diffusion electrodes Membrane-electrode assembly Novel electrolyzer design Scale-up studies and techno-economic analysis 3. Fundamental Understanding of eCO2R Mechanisms: Theoretical elucidation of reaction pathways Catalyst-electrolyte interface In situ or Operando characterization studies to understand structure-performance relationships This symposium aims to gather researchers working in various aspects of electrochemical CO2 conversion to exchange ideas, foster collaborations, and contribute to the advancement of this promising field.
