Integrate AI into your application without alienating your users

Date
August 18, 2025

Embedding AI into an established application like CDD Vault -- a widely used hosted informatics platform in drug discovery -- offers significant opportunities to enhance the user experience through improved automation and data insights. However, the intrinsic randomness of many AI processes poses challenges to user trust and scientific reliability. In this talk, we discuss how machine learning models can be integrated to augment the user experience. Case studies from recent feature development within CDD Vault will highlight both challenges and successes in aligning cutting-edge AI with the needs of chemists and biologists.
