Hi, My name is Kenji Watanabe.

I'm currently working at RIKEN, Center for Biosystems Dynamics Research in Japan.

I'm excited to talk in ACS Spring about our work recently published work in Organic Letters 2020, 22, 14, 5434-5438, entitled Indolizine Enabling Rapid Uncaging of Alcohols and Carboxylic Acids by Red Light-Induced Photooxidation.

Carboxylic acids and alcohols can be rapidly release from heteroaromatic indolizine scaffold by red LED irradiation with an aid of a sensitizer. Please check it out!
