Mimi den Uijl obtained her bachelor's in Beta Gamma at the University of Amsterdam in 2016 with a major in chemistry. She decided to start the analytical track of the Chemistry master after that, where she also joined the COAST MSc+ program. She finished her master in Analytical Chemistry with a project at Shell Amsterdam on gas chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry with supersonic molecular beams, supervised by Wim Genuit. Mimi is now one of the PhDs of the TooCOLD project where she develops multidimensional liquid chromatography method to study photodegradation. Within this project, she focusses on the development of multidimensional liquid chromatography in combination with reaction modulation, but she has been focusing on method optimization and retention modelling.
