Prof. Zhao-Bin Ding

Zhao-Bin Ding graduated in Polymer Material and Science at South China University of Technology in 2010. In 2015 he earned the Ph. D. in Physical Chemistry at Peking University. Between April 2016 and August 2020, he collaborates with Prof. Matteo Maestri in Department of Energy, Politecnico di Milano as a post-doctoral research fellow. Starting from September 2020, he works in School of Chemical Engineering at Sun Yat-Sen University as an assistant professor. 

He has developed interdisciplinary skills in the first-principles studies and expertise in a wide range of heterogeneous catalysis-related topics, including the kinetics of elementary steps and the interactions at the interface. His main research interests are:

a) Multi-scale modeling of CO2 reforming processes.

b) Multi-scale modeling of electrocatalytic processes such as fuel-cell battery and corrosion.
