Ms. Rachel J. Ashmore

I grew up in Lancaster, PA and attended undergrad at Millersville University. In my time there, I developed an interest in environmental chemistry. When I was ready to attend graduate school, I chose to study at the University of Maryland and joined Dr. Blough's research group. I have since been studying the quinone content of CDOM (Chromophoric Dissolved Organic Matter). I hope to graduate within the year, and enter the chemistry education field.
