Ville Rissanen

Ville Rissanen is a research scientist at VTT Bioinspired Materials team and a doctoral candidate at Aalto University in Finland, with a background in biochemistry and bioproduct technology. His research focuses on assembling high-performance functional structures from nanocellulosic materials, and investigating their interactions with other materials ranging from inorganic nanoparticles to living photosynthetic cells.
