Dr. Hongtao Bian

Hongtao Bian was born in Xinxiang, China, in 1982. He received his B.S. from Xi'an Jiaotong University in 2003 and his Ph.D. from Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2008. He was a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Chemistry at Rice University and Emory University. He is currently a professor of chemistry at Shaanxi Normal University. His research interests are focused on the structure and dynamics at interfaces and condensed phases using ultrafast nonlinear spectroscopy.
