I am a postdoctoral researcher and now working with Professor Pei-Yuan Qian on marine ecology and conservation in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. I obtained both my MSc and PhD degree in University of Alberta from Professor Daniel S. Alessi's lab. During my MSc and PhD, I mainly focused on the environmental impacts of hydraulic fracturing water cycle associated with microbial communities. I am specialized in coupling omics with chemistry data to solve both environmental and production issues associated with microbiome. Our previous work has been published on journals including Environmental Science & Technology, ACS Earth and Space Chemistry, and FEMS Microbiology Ecology.
