Aarthi Mohan is currently a postdoctoral researcher with the Southern Nevada Water Authority's Water Quality Research and Development Division. She obtained her Bachelors in Civil Engineering from Anna University, India and her Masters and PhD in Civil/Environmental Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMass). At UMass, her work was focused on various aspects of drinking water quality and treatment and included regulated and unregulated disinfection by-products, freshwater oil spills, ozone and UV based AOPs and taste and odor issues. In her current position with SNWA, she works on projects related to potable reuse.
