Mr. Mazin Hakim

Graduate Research Assistant, Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering, Purdue University

My name is Mazin Hakim. I graduated with a B.A. in Chemistry from Wabash College in 2017 where I helped develop low-cost 3D printed chemical instrumentation to increase access to education and the tools of science. I am currently a graduate student research assistant at Purdue University's Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering studying protein-based drug transport through in vitro tissue models. My overall career goal is to contribute to science that increases the healthspan of human life. In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis and ultimate frisbee as well as being with friends and family.
