I'm an enthusiastic researcher with a background in analytical chemistry that utilizes liquid chromatogphry- mass spectrometry (LC-MS) for the characterization of biomolecules to improve human health. My current research involves the development of LC-MS based methods for the structural characterization of dietary carbohydrates in order to better understand their role in modulating the gut microbiome. This research will allow for more precisely formulated dietary interventions for modulating the gut microbiome and affecting human health.
