Mr. Justin Horn MS

Hi, I'm Justin. I' ma fifth year PhD student in Chemical Engineering at Columbia University in Professor Allie Obermeyer's lab. My research focuses on complex coacervation of biopolymers for novel applications of proteins and other biomaterials. In addition to working on intracellular cas9 delivery via polyelectrolyte complex micelles, I have also worked on developing photo-active protein polymer bioconjugates, developing supercharged intrinsically disordered protein domains to facilitate coacervation, and developing polymers with stimuli-responsive UCST's and LCST's
