Carbohydrate modeling updates and improvements at GLYCAM-Web

Date
April 16, 2021

Recent updates and improvements to the GLYCAM-Web (glycam.org) suite of modeling tools will be presented. GLYCAM-Web offers free, online carbohydrate modeling services. Visitors can easily generate 3D structures of carbohydrates and carbohydrate-containing systems. These structures can be downloaded as simple PDB files or as input files for simulations using AMBER. Recent updates to the interface include streamlined workflows, an advanced ability to search for carbohydrates in the wwPDB database, and a web-based application programming interface (API). We have improved communication of build details, including sample procedure writeups. For users with advanced needs, the underlying source code engine is open and available for download on GitHub.
