Dr. Kenny Xie is a principal scientist at Food Chemicals Codex of US Pharmacopeia. In his role, he develops high-impact standards on protein ingredients, spices, and colorants, coordinates standard development lab projects, and drives food materials development. He holds a PhD in nutrition and food science and an MBA from University of Maryland. He is a certified food scientist.
