Dr. Zhenbin Zhang is professor at the Institute of Drug Discovery Technology, Ningbo University. He received his Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2013. Then he went to University of Notre Dame (United States) for postdoctoral research with the supervisor of Professor Norman J Dovichi. In 2016, he was promoted as a research assistant professor at the University of Notre Dame. Dr. Zhang participated in 3 projects funded by National Institutes of Health (NIH) as a core member. He was awarded the 2021 Young Investigator Award by the Chinese American Chromatography Association of North America (CACA). Since 2021, he has been employed as a professor in the Institute of Drug Discovery Technology, Ningbo University. Dr. Zhang has made outstanding contributions in developing of separation materials, techniques for preparation of mass-limited proteomics sample, capillary liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry, capillary electrophoresis and mass spectrometry. He has published more than 40 peer-reviewed academic papers (19 papers as the first author) in international well-known journals such as Trends in Analytical Chemistry and Analytical Chemistry which were cited more than 1700 times (Data from Google Scholar). Dr. Zhang is reviewer for many international well-known journals. More recently, he was invited by Frontiers in Chemistry to serve as a guest editor for the research topic of Capillary Electrophoresis-Mass Spectrometry-Based Ultrasensitive Proteomics, Technology and Applications.
