Yuan He is a professor in the Northwest University (NWU, China) and a key member in the Center for Nanomedicine and Engineering at the NWU. She received her BSC in Life Science and Technology in 2006 from the NWU. In 2011, she obtained her PhD in Structural Enzymology from the University of York in the U.K., under the supervision of Prof. Gideon Davies, FRS. Afterwards, she took a postdoc position with Prof. David Vocadlo (Simon Fraser University, Canada) in Chemical Biology and then with Prof. Jim Paulson (The Scripps Research Institute, the U.S.). In 2013, she joined the College of Chemistry and Materials Science of Northwest University as a professor. She has won the Shaanxi Province Youth Hundred Talents Plan (2016) and hosted the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Her current research interest is focused on the construction of magnetically controlled intelligent nanocatalysts for improved catalytic therapies and bioanalysis. The research results have been published in journals including Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., JACS, ACS catal, ACS AMI, Nanoscale, etc.
