Prof. Xiaodong Zhuang

Xiaodong Zhuang is the head of the meso-Entropy Matter Lab at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He received BsE and PhD degrees from East China University of Science and Technology in 2006 and 2011, respectively. He was appointed as full professor and independent PI in 2017. He proposed the name of "two-dimensional soft nanomaterials" to integrate all kinds of organic 2D materials from 2015. Then, from 2019, he proposed the concept of "meso-entropy matter" to philosophily describe the relationship between aromatic isomers, topological defective sp2-carbons and conjugated polymers.
