Dr. weifeng liu

Dr. Weifeng Liu received his Bachelor degree in polymer materials and engineering from Jilin University (JLU) in 2008 and PhD. in polymer reaction engineering from Zhejiang University (ZJU) in 2014, under the supervision of Prof. Bogeng Li. He then joined Prof. Shiping Zhu's group at McMaster University as a Postdoctoral Fellow in 2014. He joined South China University of Technology (SCUT) in 2016 since when he concentrated his research interest on high performance biocomposites. He is now a professor at the department of chemical engineering. He currently mainly targets the high performance functional lignin-based biocomposites with green manufacture process and competitive cost. He was awarded the Future Chemical Engineering Scholar of the Annual Meeting of Global Chinese Chemical Scholars
