Dr. WEI GAN

Professor Wei Gan received a bachelor's degree from the University of Science and Technology of China in 1998 and a Ph.D. from the Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) in 2006. He conducted postdoctoral research at Columbia University and Temple University in the United States. He then joined the Xinjiang Institute of Physics and Chemistry, CAS as a professor, and moved to the Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen) in 2016. He has nearly 20 years of research experience with nonlinear spectroscopic methods, focusing on revealing the molecular mechanisms at the interfaces of solid, liquid, and soft matters.
