Dr. Den joined Texas A&M University-San Antonio in the fall of 2018 and has since served as the Program Director for Water Resources Science and Technology. Prior to joining A&M-SA, he was a faculty member at Tunghai University in Taiwan for 16 years. His research spans a range of water and wastewater treatment technologies, water reclamation and management, and industrial air pollution control processes. His teaching includes water and wastewater treatment, desalination technologies, and sustainable industrial water uses. Over his academic career, Dr. Den has published about 65 peer-reviewed journal articles and presented his research works at many national and international conferences. He received his doctoral and master's degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Southern California, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
