Vladimir A Pozdin

Vladimir A. Pozdin is an assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, with a secondary appointment in the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering at Florida International University. His research focus is the development of sensing platforms for personalized health monitoring to improve healthcare and disease diagnostics. In addition, Dr. Pozdin uses sensing platforms in instrumented microphysiological systems to probe physiological response to stimuli in cell cultures. Outside of the lab, Vladimir is passionate about engaging and fostering diversity in STEM. He enjoys spending time with his family, catching an occasional sunrise from a rowing shell, and long walks on the beach.
