Violeta Alejandra Chichique Martinez

Violeta Martinez is a PhD candidate in Chemical Engineering working in the field of catalysts and reactor modeling at the University of Arizona (UA) under the guidance of Dr. Farhang Shadman. She received her bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the Universidad Centroamericana "José Simeón Cañas" (UCA) in 2016 and graduated from the master's degree in Environmental Engineering last year at the UA. She has been awarded with the Fulbright Scholarship, the Graduate College Fellowship, and, more recently, with the Faculty for the Future Fellowship of the Schlumberger Foundation. Her research experience encompasses wastewater treatment processes, advanced oxidation processes, kinetics, catalytic reactors, and reactor modeling.
