Dr. Vanessa Rosa is the Director of Innovation, Outreach, Diversity, and Education (DIODE) at the NSF Center for the Chemistry of Molecularly Optimized Networks (MONET) at Duke University. In her role, Dr. Rosa is at the forefront of transforming our understanding of polymer networks, emphasizing collaborative efforts that broaden the impact of research on industry and the public. Her work is characterized by a strong commitment to inclusive and supportive recruitment, advising, and mentoring, aiming to foster diverse and equitable research communities in undergraduate education.
Dr. Rosa is also the CEO and driving force behind Cuvette Collective, a community of innovative science educators. Her work is rooted in empathy, community, and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by science students, educators, and researchers.
