Dr Thiago Guimaraes

Dr Thiago Guimaraes is a Research Associate in the School of Chemical Engineering at the The University of New South Wales (Sydney, Australia). Thiago received his chemical engineering degree in 2013 from the University of Sao Paulo (Brazil). In 2017, he moved to Lyon, France, to conduct his Ph.D. under the supervision of Dr Elodie Bourgeat-Lami and Dr Muriel Lansalot. Since 2018, he is working on the preparation of multiblock copolymers in Prof. Zetterlund's team at Cluster for Advanced Macromolecular Design (CAMD). His current topic of research involves the development of advanced polymeric nanoparticles, including hybrid materials, via polymerization in dispersed media.
