Susan T Ovbude

Susan T. Ovbude was born in Lagos state, Nigeria, West African. She obtained a B.S with honors in Pure and Applied Chemistry within 2000-2004 and an M.S in Analytical Chemistry within 2005-2007, both degrees from the University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Oyo state, Nigeria.

 After her MS degree she worked as a Quality control/Assurance chemist and later rose to the post of a Quality control manager in CONOIL, a downstream Oil and Gas company from April 2008 to August 2016.

She proceeded to the US for her Ph.D. degree in Bioanalytical Chemistry where she is presently in her 4th year in Chemistry department, University of Nebraska, Lincoln. Presently she is working on diabetes projects where she is investigating the modifications of HSA that contribute to diabetes disorders using High performance Affinity chromatography under the supervision of Dr. David Hage.
