Mr. Subhankar Sahu completed his undergraduate Bachelor of Technology degree (Biotechnology) from Haldia Institute of Technology in 2014. Then he moved on for a master's degree in the field of Bioinformatics. He finished his Master of Technology degree in 2016 from West Bengal University of Technology. Afterwards, he joined as a Research Project Student at Dr. Raja Banerjee's Lab in WBUT, West Bengal in collaboration with Prof. Debnath Pal (Computational and Data Sciences, IISc Bangalore). In his tenure, he worked on studying the conformational importance of short peptide motifs named "Nest" in protein structure. Following this, Mr. Sahu joined Prof. Ruchi Anand's laboratory at Dept. of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay for his PhD. His present research work involves the development of biosensors using transcriptional regulatory proteins and their application towards real environmental samples.
