Steven R. Shuken

Graduate Student, Stanford University

Steven is a Chemistry PhD Candidate and Center for Molecular Analysis and Design (CMAD) Fellow in the laboratory of Tony Wyss-Coray in the Department of Neurology and Neurological Sciences at the Stanford University School of Medicine. He uses mass spectrometry-based proteomics to study brain aging and Alzheimer's disease. In his main project, Steven uses limited proteolysis-mass spectrometry (LiP-MS) to study changes in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) protein chemical structures that occur during brain aging.
