Siyuan Gao is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Northern Illinois University (NIU). He is currently working at Argonne National Laboratory as a visiting student and is expected to work at Argonne for the remainder of his graduate study. His research focuses on Li-S batteries, Zn-MnO2 batteries, and Pt-group catalysts for fuel cells. He has published 15 research articles in peer-reviewed journals, such as the Journal of American Chemistry Society and Advanced Materials.
