I got my B.Sc., M.Sc. and, Ph.D. from the University of Guadalajara in Chemical Engineering. My research interest focuses on the phase behavior and transition in micellar systems of surfactants. Recently I have been focusing on the study of more environmentally friendly solvents that help reduce the use of organic solvents for polymer synthesis, such as deep eutectic solvents, and the synthesis of macroporous materials for the further immobilization of inorganic and organic nanoparticles for applications in separation and filtration devices.
