Siddharth Parimal

Siddharth Parimal is a member of the Downstream Process Development department in GSK. He completed his PhD in 2014 from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Chemical Engineering. He started his career in industry at Biogen and worked on PAT development in downstream bioprocessing. Siddharth joined GSK in Nov 2016 and has experience in scale-up and technology transfer of early and late phase processes for various clinical and commercial programs. He has also worked on late-stage process development, process characterization and process validation activities, including control strategy development and authoring of regulatory sections for accelerated biopharmaceutical programs. In addition to project work, Siddharth leads the downstream modeling group at GSK and is also interested in implementation of Quality-by-Design principles within Biopharm.
