This symposium aims to bring scientists and engineers from multidisciplinary fields with a strong interest in hydrogen storage aiming at improving the materials’/catalysts’ performance, minimizing the cost and energy consumption via advanced approaches, to provide a forum to communicate the latest technological developments and ideas about the next-generation system development. Some of the areas to be discussed include: Advanced solid sorbents-based hydrogen storage technology; Advanced catalytic procedures in hydrogenation/dehydrogenation of LOHCs; Sophisticated/operando techniques to advance/monitor the hydrogen storage procedures; How deep learning and AI could help screen the best sorbents/catalysts for hydrogen storage.
