Dr. Sandipan Halder has completed his BS and MS from the University of Calcutta, followed by doctoral degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India. After having his first post doctoral stay at Bar Ilan University Israel he has moved to The Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio with Fulbright Nehru Post Doctoral research fellowship. After that he has returned back to Indian and joined Vivesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT) Nagpur as an Assistant Professor in the year of 2016.
His research group is focused on
1. developing Hydrogen bond donor catalyst for the synthesis of complex heterocycles,
2. catalytic installation of CO2
3. development of Organic Chemo Sensors.
