Professor Sajid Bashir Liu

Professor Sajid Bashir received his Ph.D. training in matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry from the University of Warwick (UK) in 2001 and previously graduate training in Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry from the University of New York at Buffalo (USA). He was a postgraduate research associate at Cornell University (USA) in the field of plant proteomics. Currently, he is a Full Professor at Texas A&M University-Kingsville (TAMUK) and a past Faculty Fellow at the US Air Force.He is a fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, and also holds Chartered Chemist and separately Chartered Scientists from the Science Council (UK). He is also the American Chemical Society, Energy and Fuels Division Technical Secretary (2018-2022).
