Dr. Ryan Patman Ph.D.

Ryan L. Patman received his B.S. (2006) at Oklahoma State University where he performed undergraduate research exploring tandem reductive-reductive amination reactions in Prof. Richard Bunce's lab. He completed his Ph.D. (2011) at The University of Texas under the supervision of Prof. Michael J. Krische developing a series of novel transition metal catalyzed carbonyl addition methodologies from the alcohol oxidation level. He then joined the lab of Prof. Barry M. Trost as a NIH postdoctoral fellow at Stanford University where he pursued the synthesis of the marine natural product Monanchocidin A. In 2014, he joined the oncology medicinal chemistry team at Pfizer, La Jolla.
