Russell Phifer
Executive Director, National Registry of Certified Chemists
Russ Phifer is a two-time former Chair of the ACS Division of Chemical Health & Safety as well as a former Chair of the Committee on Chemical Safety. He founded the CHAS Workshop Program in 1996. In addition to having his own environmental health & safety consulting firm, he is Executive Director of the National Registry of Certified Chemists, the national Board responsible for certifying Chemical Hygiene Officers. Russ was named an ACS Fellow in 2010.
