Rocio is an undergraduate researcher at Wartburg College. Her work focuses on the effects of RhoGTPases on uPA activity in ovarian cancer cells. In the past, Rocio's work focused on modeling bilayers, proteins, and nanoparticles in a biological environment using computational chemistry techniques. Next Fall, Rocio will be attending the University of Minnesota to pursue her Ph.D. in Molecular, Cellular, Developmental Biology, and Genetics, as well as obtaining a masters of computational biology and bioinformatics.
