Mr. Robby Reynaerts

I am a fourth year PhD student in the lab of Prof. Steven De Feyter at KU Leuven (KUL), Belgium. My research focuses on investigating supramolecular chemistry on solid surfaces with an aim to achieve nanoscale control over the structure of physisorbed molecular monolayers. The constitution of such ultrathin films formed at the solution-solid interface is characterized using molecular resolution scanning tunneling microscopy (STM). An important aspect of my research involves the study of dynamic processes, both spontaneous and induced, using high-resolution STM measurements.
