Quinn Carvalho is a 4th year Ph.D. Chemical Engineering candidate in the Stoerzinger research group at Oregon State University. Prior to joining the Stoerzinger research group, he received a BS Chemical Engineering from Montana State University (2016), and worked as an environmental engineer. His research interests include applications of (photo)electrocatalysis to a variety of reaction systems: nitrate reduction, electrochemical hydrogenation, and the oxygen evolution reaction. He is currently residing at the Advanced Light Source at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory as part of a DOE SCGSR fellowship.
