I am a fourth-year PhD student in the laboratory of Prof. William Pomerantz at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Broadly, I work in the field of chemical biology to investigate proteins involved in epigenetics. I frequently use tools of nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy to look at the interactions of histone reader proteins with their native substrates such as nucleic acids and histone peptides.
