Patricia Liwang PhD

Patricia LiWang received her BS in Chemistry from MIT and her PhD from Harvard University, performing biochemical research.  Her post doctoral work at the NIH led to an interest in structural biology and immunologically relevant proteins. She has worked at several universities and is currently a Professor of Molecular Cell Biology at the University of California Merced. Her research is in the area of protein biochemistry of viral inhibition, and anti-inflammatory strategies.
