Paschalis Alexandridis

Paschalis Alexandridis is Distinguished Professor of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York, where he has served as Director of Graduate Studies in Chemical Engineering, co-Director of the Materials Science and Engineering program, and Associate Dean for Research and Graduate Education in the School of Engineering. Alexandridis' research utilizes molecular interactions and supramolecular assemblies to develop processes that are environment friendly and energy efficient, and products with desired properties and function. Ongoing projects address structuring via self-assembly, fluorinated surfactant sequestration, environmentally responsible solvents, and plastic recycling. He has authored >165 journal articles (Google Scholar citations >19,400; h-index=71) and 6 US patents. Alexandridis is a Fellow of AIChE, RSC, and AAAS, and serves as co-Editor-in-Chief of Int.J.Mol.Sci. and Review Editor of J.Surfact.Deterg.
