Dr. Parikshit Moitra

Parikshit Moitra earned his Ph.D. from the Department of Organic Chemistry, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India while working under the supervision of Prof. Santanu Bhattacharya. Thereafter he joined Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Kolkata, India, as a Scientist D. He then joined as a postdoctoral associate at the University of Maryland Baltimore School of Medicine where he worked under the supervision of Prof. Dipanjan Pan. Currently he is working as a research associate (junior faculty) in Prof. Pan's laboratory. His research interests lie in several areas of chemical biology, supramolecular chemistry, bio-analyte sensors, molecular imaging and theranostics with a special emphasis on translational interdisciplinary sciences. He received the prestigious Gandhian Young Technological Innovation (GYTI) award in 2017. He also received the best postdoctoral fellow excellence in research award in 2020 from University of Maryland Baltimore.
