Nicholas M. Irving

Nick is a polymer and fuel chemist who lives in Guatemala City. He earned a Ph.D. in polymer chemistry from The University of Tennessee, and has worked at Dow Chemical and Best Manufacturing in the USA. He has taught at Universidad Del Valle in Guatemala. Founded West River Chemicals in the USA, and then also in Guatemala (as Río Oeste, S.A.).
He has several papers and patents in polymers and fuel chemistry, including catalyst systems, and has continued interest in R&D in the same areas.
