Natalie Trevaskis is an Associate Professor and Heads the Lymphatic Biology and Drug Delivery Laboratory at the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Her research focuses on the role of lymphatics in acute, inflammatory and metabolic diseases, and drug delivery to the lymphatics to treat these diseases. Natalie's research has resulted in >70 peer reviewed papers (>5800 cites) including significant papers in Nature, Nature Metabolism, Nature Rev Drug Discovery, Angew Chemie, J Control Rel etc. She is also an inventor of 13 patents, including for a lymph-directing lipid prodrug technology licensed to Puretech Health and Boehringer Ingelheim that recently entered clinical trials. She has worked and consulted extensively with industry to solve drug delivery problems.
