Dr. Muhammad Fayyaz is a pharmacist, pharmaceutical scientist, and future Biomedical Engineer. He has served 15 years as a clinical pharmacist, industrial pharmacist, faculty member, and researcher. Muhammad Fayyaz has a PharmD, MS, Ph. D in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Karachi; Pakistan is one of the leading Pharmacy schools in Asia. His field of specialization is PK/PD of drug-drug interactions, targeted drug delivery, model-informed drug development, drug discovery, "Omics" based Biomarker(s), and clinical trials. In the fall of 2017, he joined the Department of Bioengineering University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign to pursue his second Ph. D in Bioengineering. Recently, Muhammad has been awarded two fellowships. Mavis Future Faculty Fellow and Mayo Clinic and Illinois Alliance Fellowship. Currently, his major research area is model-informed drug development and translational medicine that predominate and predate a variety of diseases.
