Mina Aleksanyan
PhD Candidate, Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces
Mina Aleksanyan is currently a Ph.D. student in Dr. Rumiana Dimova's biophysics lab at the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces, Potsdam, Germany. In 2016, she received BSc in chemistry with honors from Bogazici University, Turkey. During her bachelor studies, she was awarded the Merit scholarship by Armenian Health, Education and Social Aid Foundation for 2 years and granted the Erasmus plus scholarship to conduct research at University of Cambridge, UK. In 2019, she obtained her MSc in chemistry from Free University of Berlin, Germany. For her PhD studies, she was awarded the prestigious fellowship of the International Max Planck Research School on Multiscale Bio-Systems having been selected from several hundreds of outstanding applications. Recently, Mina was awarded the mention of most watched and popular video at a YouTube presentation contest organized by the Young Initiative on Biophysics of the Argentinian Biophysical society.
