Mica L. Pitcher is a fifth year PhD candidate at Penn State working in Dr. Amir Sheikhi's Bio-Soft Materials Lab (B-SMaL). She graduated with her Bachelors in Science in Chemistry from the State University of New York at Geneseo where she gained research experience with organic chemistry. Now, she focuses on the fundamental and applied investigation of disordered cellulose for sustainable applications.
