Mei Sun
Assistant Professor, University of North Carolina at Charlotte
Dr. Sun received her Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University in China in 2007, Master's and PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in 2008 and 2012. Then she worked at Norther Carolina State University as a postdoc researcher, and became an assistant professor in 2016. Her areas of interest include:
- Innovative treatment technologies to remove emerging contaminants from water and wastewater
- Fate, transport, and degradation of contaminants in various environmental matrices
- Contaminated subsurface remediation
