Maryani Astuti is a PhD candidate at the University of Auckland under the supervision of Dr Lokesh P. Padhye. Her PhD research is about the occurrence and removal of contaminants of emerging concerns (CECs) during conventional and advanced water and wastewater treatment processes. She has both academic and professional experience in water and wastewater fields in Indonesia, Singapore, and New Zealand.
